hello again,

i came across a telecaster, on the internet, that i had never heard of before. it was the fender deluxe blackout telecaster. i have read as many reviews of it as a could find, and haven't managed to find any negative comments about it.

i really like the sound of telecasters... and strats, for that matter. this tele has 3 pickups instead of 2, and a 5 way pickup selector switch. it seems to me it is a kind of tele/ strat hybrid. the thing i don't like about strats are the floating bridges. i know you can get hardtail ones, but they are much more expensive. so this tele seems like a good buy. anyway, i am pretty intent on buying one, unless anyone can give me a reason why i shouldn't? perhpas the new tele standards are better? i dunno really. so i am hoping someone has one or something, and can let me know their opinion.
