Im looking for an easy songs to play on guitar, i want an easy song WITH bar chords because i want to practice doing bar chords. Im looking for a song similar to Hotel california or smells like teen spirit.

Stairway To Heaven - Led Leppelin.

I'm learning that one now and it's pretty fun and easy. It's got bar chords, but there's picking also. The picking isn't too hard though.

If you are looking to learn to play blues guitar, then there is one thing you must learn first...

The 12 bar blues form:

The blues is a simple form of music that follows a sequence of playing for 12 bars using three chords. The 12 bar sequence repeats over and over for as long as you want.

Basic Beginning Blues Guitar 12 Bar Form

The 12 bars are divided into three groups of 4 bars each. A good way to remember the form is to learn this number sequence:

1,4,1,1 (1st 4 bars)

4,4,1,1 (2nd 4 bars)

5,4,1,5 (3rd 4 bars)

These numbers represent the chords that are played during each 4-bar section.

For example: Let's say you play a blues in the key of E:

In the key of E, the chords are as follows...

The 1 chord is E7

The 4 chord is A7

The 5 chord is B7

So the first 4 bars are like this: E7(1), A7(4), E7(1), E7(1) - get the idea?
