Where can I buy an FM cable/lead arial?

I have looked like EVRYWHERE, google, everwhere.

I mean the white lead that fixes into the arial socket on the back of a hi-fi etc and hangs off.

Actually, if you just want an FM antenna, and don't want to connect it to cable, any piece of wire will be fine. Something about 3' should work well, but it is not critical.

The issue is going to be connecting the wire to your receiver; there are MANY different systems. If your receiver has screw terminals or spring terminals, simply strip back a tiny bit of the wire and insert it into the 75 ohm input. If your receiver has an F style connector on the back, you will need to get a connector that allows you to attach a wire. Try your local electronics parts store.

An easier, and probably a little better, answer is to buy a cheap dipole antenna like this one from Radio Shack. It will come with all the connector options that you might need.
